The Great Schaghticoke Fair is an annual agricultural fair held around Labor Day weekend in Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County, New York.  The fair offers livestock viewing, equine competitions, games, rides, live music, and a demolition derby. The fair was first held in 1819, making it one of the oldest fairs in the United States.

The fair features a wide range of agricultural and livestock exhibits, showcasing the region's farming heritage and offering visitors the opportunity to see a variety of animals up close. In addition to traditional farming exhibits, the fair also includes exhibits on horticulture, forestry, and conservation.

The fair also features a variety of entertainment options, including carnival rides, games, and live music performances. There are also several food vendors selling a variety of fair foods, such as fried dough, cotton candy, and corn dogs, as well as more substantial offerings like BBQ, burgers, and sandwiches.

One of the highlights of the fair is the demolition derby, where drivers compete in a fast-paced, high-energy event featuring smashed-up cars. The fair also includes a rodeo, where visitors can see cowboys and cowgirls competing in various rodeo events, such as bull riding and barrel racing.
